Yes, I Should Be Working On Final Projects.

But I'm taking a quick break to tell you how great the Lord is.

The Mozambique team of 2007 came to our meeting last night in the Loft to pray over us. As we were praying, one girl from the last team prayed, "... nothing will go out from your mouth and return to you void..." Me and Madison smiled at each other, because that's from Isaiah 55, which has been huge for our team, recurring in ways only explainable by it being a move of God. So I grabbed my Bible and started reading through Isaiah 55 to just get in that flow. We kept praying, and she looked over at my Bible sitting on the floor, then looked up at me, and we smiled at each other- (people are still praying at this point). She mouths, "that's crazy!" And I mouth, "You have no idea..." Without breaking the mood, but only with a desire to go deeper and move with what God was obviously speaking over us to pray through, I told the group what was happening.
This is just a bit of what God is doing in this team this week. 7 days from now we will be on airplanes to Mozambique. Father, we receive the things you're desiring to give us. We welcome you in your fullness, knowing we have no clue what to do with it. So empty us completely. We MUST have YOU in control, Abba. Come LORD! Ruin us with your fullness, drown us in your love, kill us with your fiery passion after your Bride! We ask for you to COME LORD! We are contending for your people to be known by you, to be completely drenched with the rain of your Presence. Be with this team, Lord, Madison and I release the reins to you, so you may have your way. All we want is for you to have your way. Your good, pleasing, perfect way. Every word, Every thought, Every feeling, Every action, Everything... YOU be in those. Blow our minds again. And again, and again. WE WILL LOOK FOOLISH FOR YOU. We don't care what we look/act/sound like. WE ARE YOURS, and we're not messing around, going to Africa for an experience, to go and 'save people.' We are lovers of you, doing what you are having us do. It doesn't matter what that means, but we long for the greater, more intimate things of You. COME LORD.
